A note of thanks
First, a note of thanks to Markus for an amazing game. Not just V10 but desire and effort that went into the inception and the continued effort to improve. I'm 34, I love the game of baseball, I watch my Cardinals nightly through thick and thin. As a child I grew up listening on the radio to the both the Cards and the Royals while my dad watched TV. My fondest memory is of the 1982 World Series and watching that entire series with my dad. Then in 1985 I cried and cried about game 6 and my dad tried to cheer me up by saying he talked to Whitey Herzog and that they were going to win game 7.
Also, as a kid I always wanted to live in St. Louis, to totally immerse myself in my greatest and first love and in 2001 I moved here and everyday its Cardinals baseball. My whole point of all of that is that baseball is more than a game to me, it is part of who I am. During the improbable 2006 Cards World Series I called my dad and talked to him on the phone during the final outs because I did not know if I will ever get to experience watching Cards World Series victory with my dad again, I actually couldn't believe I was getting to then even if it was an 83 win team and even if it was just by phone. This game that Markus and others puts so much effort into creating, configuring, testing and retesting allows me to daily spend time with my passion and in small amounts revisit those memories. It allows me to spend time with something that is a big part of who I am, my greatest and first love. Thanks Markus, Sincerely, Brinnon |

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Royals fan also and a huge George Brett fan. But head to head, I pull for the Cards. |
