Quick League Total Modifier Question

Hello,

I have a quick league total modifier question. If a modifier is left 1.100, I know understand that there will be a 10% rise in that particular total for a season.

1. Say after the first season, totals for a particular category are where I want them, do I leave the modifier at 1.100 or do I know change it back to 1.000 as no more changes are desired?

I think I'm trying to ask, does the modifier percentage growth add on to past change or remain constant over time?

Thanks

Basically you should never need to change the LTMs yourself, assuming you have the "Automatically adjust league total modifiers after each season ..." checked. The game does all the calculations and adjustments for you. And they will change every season.

If the "Automatically adjust ..." box is unchecked, then the LTMs won't change. However, most gamers won't have a good reason to do that.

You can, of course, make your own modifications to these LTMs, even if the game is doing it automatically. For example, when playing one my 60s leagues, I typically give a little boost to SP stamina, so that I get a more realistic complete game frequency for the season. But you don't want to get into that until you have a pretty good idea how the LTMs are working in your league.

Hope that helps.

League total modifiers work in conjunction with the league total's numbers just to the left of them. So, if you change one of the LTM to 1.100 and are happy with the results, you need to leave it at 1.100 so long as the league totals on the left remains the same.

LOL, not sure I've explained it very well. Doesn't seem to read well. Hope you can get the point I was trying to make.

Appreciate the help of both of you.

I've created College Conference Feeder Leagues and used 2009 totals from each conference as a base and the modifiers may be handy keeping bats from exploding down the line.

Thanks
