Pre-Arbitration Years Broken?
I am playing with a $105 mil salary cap. I wonder why my players under auto re-new are making so much money? Is this a bug?

Pre-arby years are broken for all teams.

The only way I've had this happen is when I changed the number of days for 1 year of service after I had started the league.
You didn't touch that, did you? |

No. But I did add the salary cap before my first off season. Maybe that's the cause?

Were these guys signed as international free agents? I've had it where I signed am international guy for say 3y/30m and then he went to arbitration at the expiration of that contract. That was in 9. I haven't looked for it here.

Agreed. I made a duplicate of my league and will see if I can solve this.

Players are created in the inaugural draft with arbitration-level contracts despite not having the major league service to have earned arbitration. That's part of BZ 3171 that I logged a few days back. It also messes up default fixed budget drafts, which is why I first noticed it.

In my copied league, I had the AI assign all new contracts to all league players. I wonder why the valuations are so different?
And players from Emilio Garcia down are all in their second full season. I wonder why they are treated like first year players??

It still looks like a lot of those guys are wrong.

Yeah. This is still a work in progress.

One last note relating to my universe but not this specific issue.
Ramon Gonzalez was on my 25 man roster but was drafted by another team in the Rule 5 draft. I edited him back but maybe this issue could be examined too?

Now, players with less than three years of major league service time are given league minimum salaries, or salaries just a hair above that. That part is verified fixed by yours truly for the next patch.
