Editing the news

Is there a way to change the pitcure in a created or edited news story? Example; i just played my league first All-Star game and Craig Nettles was the Player of the Game. I wrote a nice little story about the game and when i checked the league home page the story was there, and it displayed the losing pitcher's picture. I'd like to know if i can take that picture out and replace it with that of Nettles, and how? Another question comes to mind. How does the game choose who's pic gets in the article?

I'm just getting into writing/editing my own articles for my league so i thought i'd ask.
