Question on lineup moves by AI

As i usually play out/sim each game, i have not had to deal with this that much.

How does the AI handle lineup shifts due to fatigue, when simming a week at a time or more? If my cleanup hitter is tired, does it just throw my scrub replacement into the cleanup spot? I guess the AI would be handcuffed by using the replacement that i specified in the depth chart, but will it shift things around considering the fact that this guy bats a career .235?

i think the ai puts someone more suitable in the clean up spot
