Sorts not sticky and rosters reset to Batting Ratings

My sorts aren't sticky, and every player list resets upon my selection of a player and return, usually to Batting Ratings. I have scroll bars set in preferences but still get page selectors for some screens. Has the game gone backwards or have I been a dinosaur again and missed a settings change or two somewhere?

If there are more than 'x' number of players in a list, the list could not be scrolled in Version 9 and earlier. 'x' is something below 2000, if I remember correctly.

I think I determined one time it was 1500. Or was it that's what Markus told me??? Anyway, pretty sure that's it.
