Duplicating players in the game world.

I'm trying to create a custom league for a few friends of mine. We all like the same players and wanted to be able to have the same players on different teams. Is it possible to have about 50 players or so, and then duplicate a few of those players 5,6 times etc. So the game world would have about 300 or so players, however only 50 different ones.
