Simple question: How do I save scouting budget changes?

Easy enough to change the number but how do I then save it? I see no button and enter doesn't work. Thanks in advance.

You have to do it during the off-season or preseason (I forget which, if not both). You also have to have enough money available in your budget.

That's probably what he's running into.

If you don't have enough budget room with what you set it at, no matter what, it will default to 1/2 the league average.

Yeah, so if you're trying to resurrect the Nats like me, don't even touch the blessed budget figure... or it will revert to half as mentioned above and you have to start a whole new game over to get it back. Changing the Head Scout doesn't affect the budget in this instance, however, if you:

a) Have the money in the budget to make a change
b) Also want to change your Head Scout

then make damn sure you change the budget amount before firing your original HS!
Otherwise you will have to stick with the previous budget amount until the next offseason.
