funny or interesting screens, or stories about the game
I want to make a thread for people to post thier more unusual experiances or photos they have seen in the game so far
To start off when I was playing today I came across this play by play ![]() I have played all 60 games so far in that league and never saw this one. I would love to see a short stop throw his glove in a game. ![]() also might be nice to get a out by stopping it

I do enjoy these type of things, it breaks from the monotony that can happen at times and these types of things do happen in games all the time. I've actually heard of much worse happening (at real games) but it may not be appropriate to post here.

I've had Freddy Sanchez throw his glove at the ball 1 time.
I've had Brandon Webb ask for a new ball, looked at it, and asked for another new ball (1 time also) Also have had a streaker run on the field (1 time). |

Cool addition, except it is all wrong:
If an umpire judges that a fielder intentionally throws his glove at a batted ball and the glove makes contact with the ball in any manner, the batter and all runners are awarded three bases (7.05c). Keep in mind that on such plays the ball is not dead and the batter-runner may try for four bases at his own risk if he chooses. So these should all be triples, not merely on base.

The quoted play doesn't mention any contact between the ball and glove. I've seen that happen in a major league game before.
I haven't seen anyone actually touch the ball with the thrown glove though. |

I've had a couple, but neither of the ones above.
I like the addition. They're uncommon enough to make me laugh, but not too common to get sick of them. Obviously I still haven't even seen them all

I've had two guys on the same team get skunks put in their lockers. In my mind, it must have been the first guy getting the second guy back. One of them was Jimmie Foxx, which leads to all sorts of delightful animal puns. "Foxx skunked."

In the last game I played, it said that one of the players had an interview in recent team newsletter. In the interview, he said that he lost one of his toes in a hunting accident as a boy.
