Deleting games from schedule

How do I delete those spring training training games that are scheduled in the beginning of the season. The online manual (please, oh please for a pdf manual) says to go to game setup, functions and edit league schedule. I go there and I can't go to the dates that the games need to be deleted from.
This is a royal PITA. I like playing the ST games for evaluation purposes but if I have to go though this every season I guess I'll have to shut off ST.

This can only be done during the pre-season, before ST.

Damn it. You'd think something this silly would've been fixed long ago.
Also, I went to that screen in pre-season and didn't have any way to change the date.

Just noticed that there is a date selection available. The text is in dark gray on a dark blue background.
