Exclamation Minors destroyed by injuries

I know there's already a thread about high injuries on the first page, but that seems to be about ML starters getting hurt too much. I haven't had that problem, but there is an absolutely ridiculous number of players at all levels of the minors in my organization that have 5+ month injuries.

Since this is my first OOTP game, I'm running just the default historical league starting in 2009. I didn't touch any of the injury settings, either. There are more than 30 players on the DL, including 10 players from my A affiliate alone. Some of them are even diagnosed as "undisclosed injuries" that keep the guy out for nearly a year. Is this normal? Bad luck? Some kind of bug?

Here's a screenshot:

That is probably an incredible stroke of bad luck, i'm sorry to say.

I have never seen that many injuries, next time you get a good chance, i strongly suggest setting injuries down to low (it's worked for me)

With injuries on low and 25 man minor league rosters, I only have 3 total minor leaguers on the DL (never more than 4 or 5 at one time).

No more or less than my major league.

Same here. Low seems to be the safest bet for now.

Sorry about the bad luck! Are you playing with coaches? How good is your trainer?

I have had touches of bad luck during testing, but this beats my worst. For a full set of minors, I'd expect around 15-20 people on the DL in your entire system by mid-August.

Well, most of the injuries I am seeing is "Joe Unknown". Having ghost players has a benefit I didn't realize till I started seeing injuries going to the ghosts.

Now if I could get ghosts on my main roster.

Once, I managed the Yankees and we had 6 major leaguers out for at least 2 months by the end of the year in the first season, while no other team had more than 2 major leaguers out for 2 or more months, but next year we stayed really healthy and won 101 games

Actually, you can. In fact, the Nationals are doing it IRL this year.
