Smile Small update about patch #1

Hey guys,

the patch #1 is almost done, the final test build will go to the beta testers tomorrow. So, if all goes well, we will release it in a couple of days We focused on user-reported bugs & issues, fine-tuned the AI in some areas and also improved the 2009 roster set. A complete fix-list will be made available once the patch is about to be released.

When we apply the patch, does it update/fix everything for our current league, or only new leagues that we start?

What do you mean by that?

The roster set updates to ratings, contracts, affiliations, and so on will only impact new leagues.

If we have a fictional league going, will the updates and fixes apply to the fictional league already running? (Example, AI improvements, bug fixes.)

Is there a fix for any of the financial issues discussed in this thread?

27 of 30 teams have negative balance

I'm running the MLB Quickstart, just in the first year, but it's nearly impossible to make trades or extend contracts because of the financial issues. I don't know if those are issues with the roster set or the game itself. It seems like it might be the game engine from the discussion.

Looking forward to the patch!

Will it fix the current stadium issue that is being discussed in the MOD thread (i.e. 2009 stadiums with .dat files aren't working in addition to other issues)?

To answer the question, I personally hope so, but probably not before OOTP 11.

That is fixed in leagues created with the patch. The original quickstart had too low budgets initially.
