MLB Quick Start & International Players

I was just wondering if anyone has any news on this front. I posted a thread earlier about my solo dynasty using th MLB Quick start and after 12 seasons now I have still yet to uncover a single International free agent. The game has 'Create and Maintain hidden players' enabled and I have allowcated maximum money to my scouting budget.

Just wondering if this is something that has been looked at for the next patch.

There seems to be a low number of hidden players in general, from what I can tell.

My 20 team league has had exactly ONE hidden player pop up in almost a year of play.

it was wierd, I went about 4-5 years without getting any. I then did some tampering around, to be honest im not sure what i did to do this, and then got a new scouting director and i started finding some international prospects. I've tried to do it again, but i havent really been able to get any in the MLB quickstart again. I did get some in another League with MLB structure...

This needs to be looked into and fixed in the next patch.

I know scouting directors have tools vs. skills biases. Don't they also have relative ratings levels for International, Majors, Minors, and Amateurs? What're the International ratings for the director who found the players, and for the guy who couldn't?

Last night I thought I would try this and I fired my scouting director and hired one with a International Rating of 9/10. I went on to sim 6 more seasons (I made a backup first!) and didn not come across a single International free agent. So if you add this to the 12 years with my other scouting director I am now at 18 seasons with the MLB Quickstart and not a single International Free Agent Signing. Now I started a fictional game with fictional teams and players and after a couple of months my scouting director had already turned up 2 players. I think it is definately a bug with the 2009 Major League Quickstart.

In my limited play with the 2009 MLB rosters, I've uncovered several international FAs. No useful ones, but several nonetheless.
