international scouting?

Am I missing something here? Is this something new in OOTPX?

Although I'm budgeting many hundreds of thousands of dollars every year to scout internationally, I have yet (through 2.5 season) to get a single prospect delivered to my attention. Given my experience in past versions of OOTP, I wonder about this. COuld it be a bug?

I note that my scout's international scouting rating is grayed out, even though it gives him a rating (and it's quite good). Same thing with the amateur rating.

Is there a check box somewhere I haven't checked? I've been playing this for a few years now, I thought I knew where these things were, but I can't seem to find anything.

Any ideas?

Well:
1. Is scouting turned on in the options?
and 2. Are you using a fictional league or the MLB quick start? The quick start seems to be bugged with no hidden players but I know they are there as it works with fictional leagues.

Yeah, sorry. It's a MLB game. After I posted this, I saw on another forum something else about no hidden players in MLB. THis would be a bug, no?

That would be my guess. Because it works in fictional leagues.
