How do you enable more than one wild card team per sub-division?

you can use custom playoffs to do this

Just be aware that OOTP limits you to a powers-of-two number of playoff qualifiers, e.g. 2, 4, 8, 16, etc. So if you had an MLB-style setup and wanted to increase the number of wild cards per subleague, you'd have to go from one wild card in each subleague to five (going from a total of four post-season teams to eight).
