This isn't exactly right... The big idea is that it changes the whole RP/SP paradigm. What types of pitchers can start of must relieve is now not only determined by endurance/stamina.

I was a bit unfair there for sure, I know there is more to it than just more detail in how the pitcher stuff rating is determined, I am just not thrilled with the implementation so far. Stamina should also change based on role and I don't believe it does, which causes a mess for imported OOTP9 leagues with lots of OOTP9 era SP's now being "bullpen only" and many MR/CL types recommended as SP's, though their low stamina only seems to allow them to pitch 2-3 innings per start.

I am not sure how well the new pitching system works for new leagues, maybe it is okay in this area, but if it is not then users might need to jack up the endurance for generated rookies.

Ideally stamina changes based on usage pattern. Most pitchers should be able to grow fiely quickly to a stamina that will allow them to start...then they would be successful or not based on their repertoire.

This is the part that is really driving me nuts. Why would it recommend someone be a Starter if they can only go 3 innings? If they are used as Starters, even for 3 innings, will their Stamina improve, or will they just forever be Starter wannabes?

Well I was a "fence sitter" and now I am saying I really wish I didn't buy this game. I only play real MLB sims and the game is completely broken due to the financial issues that arise in the first couple seasons. No trades, no free agents signings, and not even any money to re-sign existing players what is the point of even playing? I really want to give this game a chance but to be honest I just can't see how I could ever get a good game started.

I have the latest patch and I started a new game, simmed 1 year and saw that almost every team was negative balance and negative projected budget. I took control of a few teams and they all had next to no money availabnle for free agents and extensions. From what I saw it wasn't fixed.

Fence sitters? I think they should stop being middlemen and take off their fancy clothes...
