Offensive Explosion!

Not sure if anyone else has seen V10 act like this, but for my first 3 seasons, the offense was pretty in line with norms (granted, I'm having a devil of a time developing some good pitching). But, this past season, the entire game EXPLODED. Every level, every league, saw a jump across the board. Juiced Balls?

For instance, I only made one significant addition to my lineup, but went from 3 yrs of 747 runs, 742, and 728 to 1149 last year.

On the League Leader board, the top 8 shown in OPS (in the NL) were all over 1.100. The top 8 in AVG were all over .373. Its like that across the board.

Anyone else see offense get out of hand? We led the league in ERA at 5.06!

I found I enjoy playing with 1980 settings. There arent a lot of HR's, but I play out all my games and there are more close low scoring games. One caveat: The financials are broken so if you want to use 1980 (or any other historical settings) settings in a fictional universe that will include foreign or non affiliated leagues, you must start a default modern game (and use modern financials) and change the player creation modifiers.
