IS there a way of quick simming?

Apart from creating a game and having the manager autoplay to a certain date which can take a while if its a few years...

I keep on hearing people say they create a fictional league and sim a number of years so when they start the draft all the players have a bit of history - so was wondering how poeple did that.

The method you explained is how it's done. I'm simming from 1901-2010 right now with a fictional five-league setup I made last night. Needs a bit of refining, but it's moved along very quickly.
