Knuckleball... Better than other pitches?
I've got a fictional pitcher who has only a curveball rated 15 and a knuckleball rated 18. Other ratings are above average, around 13 or 14 level.
Funny thing is he is doing GREAT at major league level as a starter. Does the game actually model the knuckleball differently? (It probably should...) My other two pitch pitchers get shelled as starters more often than not. thx sj |

Hitting the knuckleball is not an easy thing to do. As the great hitting coach Charlie Lau once said: "There are two theories on hitting a knuckleball. Unfortunately, neither of them works."

Is it in hints.txt now? I always empty it and save it a blank file first thing (no repetitive hints that way to irritate me) so I didn't see it.
I hated knuckleball pitchers even more than the guys with the blazing fastballs because the knuckler just does whatever it feels like.
