I'm thinking of a different process, methinks. I go into the scheduler and schedule a playoff series that way when I want a custom series. This isn't the most ideal option, but it's probably the best one for what I try to accomplish.

I've never tried that, but I think you can, 1) only schedule playoff games for teams actually in the playoffs and 2) you have to use all the teams, for the reason I said earlier.

I believe your method is for what would determine a champion, which is logical. I use mine for after the playoffs (though I'm not sure, you may be able to achieve what you want through my method by disabling the playoffs and then creating your own in the scheduler).
Just note that, in doing so, one team is scheduled to be the home team the entire way through. It should be fixed to make it a flexible format rather than going in and having to change things day-by-day. |
