You Just Never Know....

After starting out the season with an 8-1 record and a 2.17 ERA,Jared Weaver of the Anaheim Angels was making a strong case for the A.L. Cy Young award,then this happened.

That's why all of my players are required to sit in the clubhouse and do nothing 24 hours a day (except when actually playing the game) during a season!

Some wives have complained about my policy - but I tell them to quiet down, it's not as if he actually wants to go home anyhow.

It was probably the drug dealer who broke the guy's finger before he could get away. Heaven only knows what would have happened if he wasn't a fast runner.
