Nation editor

Hi everybody, i'm new to the site I have both ootp 9 and ootp 10 and have had the same problem with both I don't know what population of nations effects but when I edit the population of a nation it changes to the amount i type untill i exit when i load the game back however it resets to the original population

I am not sure about his specific problem, but the rule of thumb when editing in OOTP is always push 'enter' after editing each field. The changes are not saved until you do that.

warfisch, i always had clicked the enter button and i tried again today hitting the enter button and resets when you load the game back up has this happened to anybody else

does anyone know if the game loads up this information from nations.txt on every restart i know that the game loads injury.txt from the database directory every time you start in the game so when i have my edited injury database from one league in that directory and i load my other online league the injury names change to the ones in my edited injury.txt file being out five months with the flu is funny to see i have a feeling that the game might be reloading from the nations.txt file and if it is then you might need to edit that file directly to have any effect although i don't know why you'd have the option to alter it directly from ootp if that is the case

I don't know a ton about this but I know what you start with is saved with your league so if you change the nations.txt file it only affects new leagues. Please, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
