This was odd, but funny
The A.I. just offered me a trade. After looking at the trade for quite awhile and finally deciding that I wanted it, I went ahead and completed the trade. Well, I'm past the trade deadline, so the players had to clear waivers first.
All seems like it is going well and that the trade is going to go through when I receive a message saying that MY player in the deal was claimed on waivers.......by the team that I had traded with!!!!! Talk about an impatient G.M.

Yes, but the trade would still go through.

When you claim a player you have a certain amount of time to work out a trade if you won the claim. That is my understanding of the rule. The dangerous thing about just claiming each others players is if you are not at the top of the waiver list, it goes from worst record to best then the trade would get blocked anyway
