Wrong Pics & Links Writing Recaps and News

I brought it up last year and things still don't work according to plan. But I"m posting here, wondering how it's working for the - apparently - few of you who utilize the tool in either news stories or recaps. The search result and posts I could find are listed below, many without solution or responses even then. Do any of you have any solutions or is everything just fine?

In addition, I've emailed Eugene (though I'm not sure he received it) and Andreas hoping for a little guidance on just where this problem originates, because it has alluded me for a long, long time. Of course, the other issue - and one that may be the reason a lot of people don't use it - is that the entries don't last. That is, do all the creating you want and even save the Almanac, but your custom news stories only last the year you write them. In no small sense, they're probably only as good as the month or two, if that, you spend looking at them - or back on them - once you've written them.

I've attached pics to show the actual areas that get affected and where, in many cases, it goes wrong. I don't know that I've ever actually spotted the PC-generated news being wrong, but it happens very often with custom, i.e. player-created news items. I assume recaps translate into these news items as well. At this point, I'm not certain about whether I really want to invest a lot of time writing with the number of errors that occur, and I'm equally curious as to whether any of you think it's worth having the tool available at all for the short lifespan it has.

Maybe all the problems aren't as clear as they could be in the pics, but I think they're pretty straightforward. Ask away, help if you can. If this post gets as much attention as the ones listed below, it won't matter. It will be painfully obvious it's only an issue for very few. Thing is, once this wrong choice gets made by the PC after your links are supplied, other than deleting the message and trying again, there's no way you're going to make Bill Crawford go away.
