By initial text screen, do you mean the instructions screen? Did you click "Don't show this again" or just Okay? Does an error come up or anything? I've started a thread in the mods section so we don't clutter up the main board. http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ker-ootpx.html

I don't know if the OP ever followed up on this. This program is ready to use for OOTPX (link is in sig).
It would be nice for Markus to include graphs in-game like this utility has. But until then, I'll just keep using this.

I tried it, but when i click 'okay' on the instructions screen (without checking don't show again) i get:
program has encountered a problem and needs to close error. not whining, just letting you know. :-) |

Brilliant.
My base line is pre-spring training 2010 and I just added post draft data. I wondered how one pitcher had jumped up from 1 to 3.5 stars and this explained it. He developed a forkball in spring training. He shows 0 to 40 growth in forkball. He now has five pitches is doing quite well. Can't wait to see what other mysteries will be explained.

Its a little thing, but I think the Browse towards your saved games actually needs to point to a specific league.
I kept trying to go to my saved games folder, expecting to get a list of leagues. Instead, I got unhandled exceptions (line 91, the one I get when I forget to say x= NEW obj). When I used that browse button to go down specifically into my .lg folder, it got passed that. Seems to be working. At least I did verify and restart. Also, on the second time it ran, after the Verify step, it couldn't seem to remember where I told it to find the league. Had to browse again. I usually don't install in the default path. In this case, under prog files, I've got a 'games' subdir then 'sports', then OOTP. Running Windows7 if that matters or helps to know. |

Tracking development just needs to be a new feature in XI. This is something that is sorely missing.

Yeah, if you didn't install in the default path, I believe the program looks to the default path. If it doesn't find saves games there, it will continue to prompt.
