Fielding Stats Erased?
I have noticed that the fielding stats get reset after each season. Is there a reason for this or an option so that I can keep the Fielding stats?

There is an option to keep minor league fielding stats. They are off by default.
The major league ones I *think* are kept by default. But they get moved to a "Fielding History" tab. I think the reason is that over the course of 20 seasons, a guy who regularly played 3-4 positions would have his current fielding data very far offscreen (given a normal monitor). You'd have to scroll down, which could be a pain when you're looking at a bunch of players in succession. |

I found it. Game > Game Setup > Player and Picture Options.
There are options to: Keep career L/R splitsAll three have the option of: Keep allI believe it defaults to Major League for all three. |

I find that it is broken, I tell it to keep them and it does not save any fielding stats from last year nor spring training...nor have I heard anyone say they got it to work, but have not heard others say that it does either :/
I have it logged here BZ 3289: Keep all Fielding stats not saving with detaled screens a showing tests. I am hopeing a patch fixes it |

I know, or at least it used to be this way, that Spring Training fielding stats are not saved. I'm not sure they're even available for viewing during Spring Training.

Gotcha. I'd just noticed Mortimer added that area to his problem statement, so added mine. I'm sure this'll get resolved.
