Status?

I have been hoping to hear some news about the 3rd patch as the format I am most interested in playing in this game is one that includes both historical and fictional players. However with the current bugs in the game with fielding ratings it is very annoying to have to reset all of the fictional players fielding ratings after every season. So I am wondering if there is an update or even a general ETA on this patch. I do not care if it is one month from now but I would like to at least understand how it is proceeding.
