VORP: 12th
RBI: 7th

now on the LF career leaderboard:

BA: 4th
H: 3rd
HR: 4th
2B: 2nd
3B: 2nd
VORP: 6th
RBI: 2nd
R: 2nd

so, as you can see, he was one of the best at his position
It's too soon. You need to wait say 10 years to see how his totals stack up. Shortlist him to keep it easy to compare.

I looked at him and thought, "he's not a power guy, he's not a BA guy, not a speed guy, what is he?" Very good

That makes his placement on all those lists less impressive. If Bobby Abreu suffered a career ending injury today, would you put him in the Hall?

Abreu is as good or better than this player in every facet of the game. More hits, better average, more home runs, tons more speed, an OPS nearly 100 points higher, walks at nearly twice the rate, more runs, more RBI, more doubles. Abreu was a very good right fielder too. (Besides, there's no one in the Hall primarily for their defensive brilliance at a corner outfield spot. Catcher, shortstop, center field, third base, yes. Not left field or right field.)

Abreu wouldn't last past one season on the ballot in 2015 if he retired today.

I would put Abreu in the Hall. He's easily one of the most underrated players in the league, I love the way he plays

You can put this guy in the Hall too. You're the only vote that counts.

But I think the real life Abreu HOF ballot voting will be similar to the the poll you posted for this player, unless he hits one of those magic numbers, which for him, would be 3,000 hits. He'd certainly be on less than 10% of ballots if he retired in 2009.
