ethnicities/Nations editor question

If I fix it in the notepad ethnicity and nations editor files to only have whites in my United States based league I wanted to know if say 40 years into my league if i changed the data of those files to integrate blacks will it affect an existing league or is this just pointless to do.

I think there is a function in the game setup called 'reimport names & ethnicities'. If you change your ethnicities files midway through, then use this function, you should be able to integrate your league.

I don't know about changing nations file after the start of a league. I'm not sure you can do that.

To my knowledge, no ethnicity file is re-imported through the use of this function. Only First and Last name files....

The manual says differently.

The ethnicity of fictional pictures is controlled by the ethnicities.txt file, which I have not seen imported in my experience....

I'll do a quick experiment here....

A-HA! The ethnicities.txt file IS imported!

I guess it was so small that the importer snuck it in without me seeing it....

Anyway, this is great! We can have segregation and then get rid of it!...
