Bobble's Facial Hair Mod V2.0
I've updated my facial hair mod. There are now 90 different facial hair styles in each of the 5 colors (that's 450 files!) PLUS 4 more sideburn styles (also each in the 5 colors). I went through the original files and made them a little more realistic, making them less perfectly groomed. It's uploading to Padresfan's site as I type.
Comments welcomed. The new facial hairs look like this:

Looks good, as usual! So if someone already has every other variation that you created, what do we need to do? Just unzip a new file, with existing ones just overwriting the current version?

I am hoping Markus and gang just slip this into the game's installer ... with proper credit due of course. This is one of the "must have" add ons. Great work Bobble!

I sent a note to PadresFan as well. Hopefully, he can put it on his site where it's easier to find.

Isn't it possible to have this included in the Add On Central options? I'll admit, I'm not well-versed on the mod side, but can that selection be controlled by the server site, i.e. Padres?

This is excellent!
It says in the readme to change the beard frequencies within the game.. most of the defaults are set to 0, what settings do you recommend Bobble? |

Bobble,
I waited until PadresFan loaded it (I don't trust too many sites that I don't know, but his is the tops) to download your mod. I looked at it this morning and, once again, I am impressed with your work. You don't need a compliment from me but I'll give it to you anyway: You are one talented dude. Thanks. Bru

Well, maybe not the bushiness of the 19th century variety, but like they used to say about spaghetti sauce, it's in there!

My pleasure. And what you said clears up another point that I remembered as I was working on my own hairy guys: The points do not have to add up to 100, as I implied in my post.
I think it was established a while back that total number of points is immaterial; it's the ratio of points assigned to each beard type to the total of assigned points that matters. The zeroed beards are not included in the calculation or in the game. I happen to try to use a total of 100 to make the math easier in my head.
