Searching for a more realistic aging speed

I am really enjoying the game, which I have set to meet my preferences. One setting that I have not gotten correct is batter and pitcher aging speeds. I seem to have a lot of players having superstar seasons even though they are in their late 30s.

Perhaps six months or a year ago, I read a thread where someone had determined a much more accurate aging speed. Does anyone remember the thread or have any suggestions?

Thank you,

Charles

If it's posted by RonCo for OOTP9, yes, i have those memorized.

Batter aging speed: 2.0
Batter dev. speed: .5
Pitcher aging speed: 1.75
Pitcher dev speed: .5

Be warned, these may not work, as they are for OOTP9.

I'm actually doing some testing on my fictional league and I've found that lowering both modifiers by about half a point results in reasonable long careers. I may try to lower the development some more, but the aging has actually been pretty solid as almost all players are running out of steam in the late thirties. The guys that don't are the ones who have had injuries that impacted their performance, which isn't all that unrealistic except it may happen a bit too much.

Kinda wish each player had his own, discrete aging setting.

Please let this be in OOTP11.

Hall of Fame players don't burn out at 31... I'm looking at you OOTPX...

Are these still the way to go with vX ?

Edit :
I searched around, if anyone is wondering the same .. this .. seems to be the most recent discussion.
