Team stats, more splits please...

I don't want to clog up the board with this but, after asking for this for 5 years and spending last night calculating my team stats with a calculator, I just want to ask the developers to think about including more team splits. It seems to me this could be done by simply aggregating the individual stats that are already compiled under "reports". In other words, I want to see how my "team" pitching and hitting has changed month to month, lefty vs. right. For me, it is useful information and it helps me to understand the "story" of my team's season.

thanks.

I still cant believe this hasnt been implemented since OOTP 2007

The biggest travesty you cant see:

team splits with RISP
team splits for each month
team splits late/close
et al.

Yes, the game needs better report options.

I've only been with OOTP for about a year, and I spent a bunch of time searching for team stats before realizing they didn't exist. I also would like to see them, and I would like them to be sortable so I can see how my team stacks up against the rest of the league.

Really happy to see that some other people feel the same way. With some of the "big names" in the OOTP community now on-board, I think we may have a shot at seeing this implemented.

I just added an enhancement request for team stats (BZ3596). Maybe we'll see them in OOTP11.

I'm sure there is a reason, but why can't the current pitching and batting reports that already exist with splits and individual statistics simply be summed together at the bottom of each report? It seems like a fairly easy Excel function...
