Discount for Mac/Linux Buyers?

If you're using Linux, the Windows version of OOTPX seems to run just fine through WINE.

Boston, you posted a legitimate question and I feel the company owes you a response which I hope will be that they will honor the commitment. However, given the way they have handled this issue, I wouldn't be too optimistic.

Why the other two responders felt compelled to respond with nonsense, I don't understand.

I can appreciate the fact that the percent of actual customers who are Mac/Linux that waited for the CC/paypal issue to be resolved is probably small compared to those who wanted the game and actually purchased it. And our money isn't going to push OOTP passed some imaginary threshold where they are concerned with us at this point.

And I understand there are probably bigger issues that the OOTP staff is addressing and working on in relation to OOTPX, the patches and the development of OOTP11.

With that said, I'm seriously considering sitting this version out at this point.

I've been with this game since OOTP6 and have been satisfied for the most point. (Not going to go down that road that has been hashed and rehashed numerous time here) I'd love a version that has a working FA compensation and the new pitching aspects, etc., but, seriously, my version (OOTP9) isn't broken. I can still play it and be happy.

I guess it is more principle at this point than anything. We were told to wait and they pretty much ignored. And now, I think it is a closed case for the company.

Just some final closure that actual makes us seem important would be appreciated.
