Deleting a League

I would like to load a Template it's one I made with the last Patch Rosters and Delete it hoping I won't get Microsoft Run Time Error when I save or somebody have a better way to do it?
So that would go with a Saved Game to or I have to do all the steps to get it working?

Once you get a runtime error with a template, its forever lost. You will have to start over I am afraid.
