Adding the DH

I would like to add the DH to one of my subleagues. I'm in my 12th season as manager and have just switched teams but would like to add the DH just for something different (I don't think I have ever managed a team with the DH before, I steadfastly refused until now.)

Obviously the best time to add it would be the first day of the offseason.
Has anyone done this before? And if so, are there any problems with doing this as far as the game/AI is concerned?

No problems.
