Player Listed....Does Not Exist?

First off I had an issue coming up with a proper title. Whether that is due to the lack of sleep or complexity of the issue I do not know.

Anyway, I went to look at all players in the league I am playing. I found a 5 star, 31 year old 3B that was listed as being with no team. Hmm. I figured this was a guy that some team found on the international market but never signed him. I was ready to throw some cash his way. Well, it did not give me an option to offer a contract. His history showed ratings changes but nothing about being found by any team. Finally, I chose to scout the player and the game froze. Has anybody had this issue?

Let me know any additional information you might need.

Looks like the player is an internally deleted one. He should not show up on the list though. Does he get shown in the FA list?

I've seen this too. Listed, no team affiliation, can't find them anywhere.

No, he does not.

I wish he did. I really want this player hitting cleanup
