New version when?

I'm am itching to purchase OOTP X but read on a league's forum that a newer version (XI?) is due out about six months from now. Is this correct? If so, will upgrade discounts be given? Otherwise, it might just make sense to wait. (The two leagues I'm in use older versions).

Buy X. Version XI has not even been fertilized yet!

If you have the cash, get version X now. There has been almost always a pre-pay discount, but you may be waiting for months.

Make the purchase to OOTP X. A new version is probably about 9 months away and you will get your moneys worth playing OOTP X until that time. There is really not a upgrade price but every year there is a pre-pay period and you save about $10 off the price if pre-paid. Hope this helps.

Keep in mind also that OOTPX is about to be patched for the final time very soon. Typically, new versions will be patched throughout the baseball season and aren't really "finished" until the last patch in the fall.
