All of the new features appear to be working as advertised. I was expecting the "import to draft pool" function in particular to have some issues, but that worked smoothly. I also greatly, greatly appreciate that the new DL rule does not apply to online leagues. I would be interested to see what bugs were fixed, and if any changes were made regarding injuries.

The only two issues I encountered, which are really non-issues.....

-The very first time I ran the game after installing the patch, I got two different error messages about templates as I attempted to navigate through the screens. I didn't notice any actual errors (the pages loaded fine), and in subsequent times I ran the game the error messages did not show up.

-I am Commissioner of an online league, and installing the patch appears to have wiped out my FTP settings. I typed the settings back in, successfully ran the test buttons, and successfully uploaded the new league file. I am in CubbyFan's league, and it appears he had to do the same thing.

Also, when I uploaded the league file, I got a Windows Firewall message asking me to allow or unblock which I've never received before. I simply clicked "unblock" and everything worked as expected.

I am disappointed the transaction log bug hasn't been fixed. The logs still erase at the end of the playoffs, even if you have "keep all" selected for them in the general options.

I agree. This is a problem

Might be worth a mention here. In solo play, you will not receive the message to move the player off the DL if you are in Commissioner mode.

Where exactly is the option to set league wide pitching rotations?

From the Game menu, select Game Setup.

On the Game Setup screen, select the League Setup tab on the top left.

Once in League Setup, select the Strategy tab on the top right. It is in the Generic Strategic Tendencies. Starting Rotation Mode is the option, I believe.

You bring up a solid point on the page issue though. I am not a longtime user of OOTP, so I don't know if this has been implemented before, as you said it has in a previous post. However, it would certainly be a welcome addition for me, and even more so for you, as you mentioned that you are disabled.

Keep pushing for the small changes, as I think that these are the most important parts of the game. While the back of the box features are necessary to draw people in, the smaller additions are what hook customers in.
There's no tension here, if you noticed I gave Spleen a kiss at the end. I'm also a fanboy however the thread was about feedback. Markus is a big boy and can speak for himself. Everytime someone says something negative about OOTP the fanboys attack them. This is ridiculous and has to stop. Thanks to everyone for your input good and bad and have a great weekend...

The transaction log bug is still there. Grrr.

I also cannot exit the game from League Setup using the upper menu, but have to exit to the main screen in order to exit. We should be able to exit the game from any screen. (If not, I will get caught a lot more often by my wife while playing OOTP instead of checking the stock market like she thinks I am supposed to be doing!)

On first glance, several of the roster set issues appear to be unaddressed, particularly with regard to salary issues. Jack Cust and Adam Eaton's salaries remain incorrect, for example

Can anyone who worked on the patch address whether any of the roster set issues from the roster thread were corrected for the patch? If some did, then I'll make a list over the next few days of which issues were not addressed, but if no changes were made to the roster, I won't bother.

Mal, I just tried this and the menus work fine. I was in league set up and through all the tabs and _game_quit works.

Thanks for the info. It must just be my laptop. Oh, well.

I am also wondering if the rosters have been fixed. If not then at least I know what I need to focus on once the mac patch is out.

Also on the completly pointless fanboy issue, "fanboys" are sticking up for Markus because he has provided a great piece of entertainment for them. They have as much right to stick up for him and ootp as you have as much right to bash on him. If you don't like "fanboys" responds then don't say something that brings the "fanboys" out.

This message was brought to u by a "fanboy."

I stopped caring about that epithet long ago, along with most of my other inhibitions. When I stick up for OOTP due to appreciation for the game or out of reason and fairness, call me a fanboy. When I criticize OOTP, call me a devilboy. Who the heck cares who cares? The thoughtful people get my message, agree with it or not.

Now, Nancy's Boy? That's me!!! (My wife's name is Nancy. )

After the final postseason game I create the almanac so to save the trans log. It doesnt make looking back at it very easy, but it does save it, as well as teams personnel before everything starts changing and getting deleted and players retiring.

It's been that way so long I think it's probably considered a "feature", though I don't really like it, either. I'd like to be able to view the transaction logs for at least the past two years.
