While they do normally do a decent job. Adam Ryland at Greydog Software is easily the best at getting patches out quickly and productively.

Yeah just like thier Bowl Bound Pro football game that was released two years ago...wait..that's right...the release is still imminent...something about the developer still working on his floors or something. Can we say vaporware! lol!

Bowl Bound is developed by Arlie Rahn. Adam Ryland always releases his games in great shape and the minor errors are fixed within a couple of days. He is an excellent developer.

He is and he does. You can't complain a bit about his products/ updates. Not always the nicest/ most patient in his interactions with his customers, though (but it's his business).

I canīt believe it
A FINAL patch is followed by another FINAL patch....

Thatīs mighty great Markus, you surely never leave players hanging with a problem it seams.

What about that salary file ??? It doesnīt seam to work as you might hoped. Players are still given whatever salries and contracts the AI seams proper in a historical setting.

Never mind THE PITCH SELECTION WORKS what I can see and thatīs the jackpot.

PS Hopefully the game itself (AI) really gives a damn what pitches are thrown and that it has some intel. Perhaps not throwing a breaking ball with bases loaded, full count, the game on the line and to boot that pitcher has a very bad breaking ball.

Lots of variation on this of course. What pitch is better than the other on any given count.
Some intel such as the information in spring about how important certain pitches was pointed in this direction. Hopefully we are getting there.

How is this unrealistic? Did you see Atlanta's Mark Wohlers throw a slider instead of his 100-mph fastball to Jim Leyritz, who had 2 strikes on him, during a critical at-bat in Game 4 of the 1996 World Series? This crap actually does happen in baseball.

Loopy decisions get made in baseball all the time, so an occasionally loopy AI is quite realistic. Now, if the AI was perfect and didn't do something randomly loopy in OOTP, that would be unrealistic. Even Earl Weaver did loopy stuff on occasion.

I think that's actually what's difficult about creating realistic AI.

Is the financial file in order...
Was it wrong before.

I have read and written in some threads about "funny" results.
How many have looked over this ??

Zero in Media Revenue in my dynasty for all teams have resulted in masses of Super Stars staying in FA status over full seasons.
Getting some players to retire very early indeed.

Shouldnīt the Media Revenue for each team at least have some cashflow ?
Or could it be that I made a mistake (I havenīt fiddled at all when the settings on financials. I didnīt have the gut)

And now for something completly different.

AM I the only one that would be glad to see a report every year on who retired ?????
Maybe even a selective year in the full complete retire list when the player retired.

Almost every online league seems to have ground to a halt, as some GMs are patched, some arent because theyre waiting for the next patch, some have MACs, some have MACs but seem to be able to patch..

You should really post these in the OOTP 11 features thread. http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-features.html

Good ideas that I would like to see in the game.

Hopefully "around the end of the week" means Thursday and you won't need such a thread!
