Patch 10.4.30 coming up...

Hey guys,

while we are getting the Mac/Linux licensing issues fixed we have also fixed a couple of other small bugs, hence we will update the patch to version number 10.4.30 in a couple of days.

The fixes include:
- Exported reports will now be properly formated on external browsers (there was a problem with the included CSS file)
- Fixed greyed-out "Save" button in the save filter and save custom view dialog
- Fixed the way "Keep log for X..." options work, it now should work as intended
- Pitchers will no longer be created with just a fastball and a sinker as the repertoire
- The "vs. Team" pulldown menu in the pitching stats section of the player profile will now work properly, sometimes it did not

The new version should be available around the end of the week.

Guys, if you're experiencing this problem, please try the following:

- locate the file /templates/styles.css. The /templates folder is NOT in a league folder, but next to the /text folder.

- copy the file to the /news/html/images folder which is inside your league folder. There should already be such a file. Replace it.

- restart OOTP - now newly created reports should be okay again.

I download the Mac patch while you guys had it up (this was before you told of the license issues with it). Now it wants me to enter a license key when I play my game. What should I do when the fixed patch comes out? Will I need to get the key unlocked? Can I just enter my second, unused key?

Go into preferences, and unlicense the game. You should then have either of your two licenses to use on the game.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't want to steer the guy wrong!

Okay, it's cool that you fixed a few more bugs. But I'm now stuck without participating in my online leagues because I'm a Mac user. A bunch of leagues updated yesterday and I was hoping for the .29 patch to come out today so I could resume participation. If I have to wait until the end of the week, that will suck.

Is there any way that the .29 Mac patch could be released in the interim? Probably not, but I thought it was worth a shot to ask.

Actually, there's an button to release the license in the main menu (the first screen you see after you open the game). Click that and then you should be able to re-enter the same license number you entered before.

Dude if you download the latest patch 10.2.16 will be included with it......if that helps any.

Doesn't help for online leagues that if you use a future version your exports don't work. Our commish and the rest of the league are still on 10.2.16, therefore our exports wouldn't take with the new patch.

I've got the old patch, and the old setup (both), but the setup is over 200MB and the patch is over 35MB. Too large to email.

If you can teach an idjit like me how to FTP from my puter to yours, I'd be glad to do it.

Just be forewarned, it would have to be step by step instructions cause I really am an idjit.

EDIT: Or I could burn it to a disk, and throw it in the snailmail today if you wanted to PM me your address. Depending on where you're at it would likely be there by Wed.
