You weren't dim. Since I control all levels of my organizations, in all my leagues, I've never even seen a bunch of catchers stack up, on any one team. In my leagues, it's a far-more-common problem to see an organization which only has five or six catchers overall, from top to bottom.

Playing solo--using QS--Minor league managers in control of minors-at end of 1st season I have 7 catchers on Great Falls (Rookie WSOX)2 more were promoted (both rookies)
