Watching Games as Manager

I am in the middle of my playoffs. I manage and play out every game during my season. The team I manage is in the Championship series. Both Playoff games for Game 2 are scheduled for the same day. I wanted to watch the other game since I'm hopeing to manage against one of the teams for the series. I can't. I can only manage or quick play. I am in Commish Mode. If both games are scheduled for the same day the "watch" option isn't available. Am I missing something? I can watch the replay, but not the game live. I should be able to watch the game even if I'm playing on the same day. I want to SCOUT the teams, really SCOUT the teams and I can't.

I think you should be able to use "Manage" and then have both team's lineups and in-game decisions done by the AI manager.

I tried that but I got 3 innings in and both starters were still in and it was 6-4 which scared me. I was waiting for one of the managers to go to the pen, but they didn't, so I'm quickplayed out in case I had no control, and I was screwing up the series. I still don't know if i had stayed with the game if the managers would have managed. i guess that's what I'm trying to find out.

I think that if you turn off the "enable world" button( not at home, so unsure of its name, but something along those lines), the other will not be played, so, you can play one, and then come back and do the other.

Right, there is some feature that allows you to play one game without simming the rest.

You have to disable the "sports network" option in the pre-game options screen. This will basically disable the out of town scoreboard since games will not be simmed parallell with the one you are playing out
