OOTP Patch #4, version 10.4.31 available!

Hey friends,

We have released 10.4.31 to the public. Those who downloaded and installed the beta version previously do not need to install again, it is the same build.

Mac & Linux users: Before installing the patch, start your current copy of OOTP, then open the "Preferences" dialog, and click the "Unlicense Game" button. Exit OOTP, and then install the patch! For the PC version the patching procedure is unchanged from previous patches. You can see more detail on patching here.

These things are new/fixed in the patch, compared to version 10.4.29:
- Exported reports will now be properly formated on external browsers (there was a problem with the included CSS file and some templates)
- Fixed greyed-out "Save" button in the save filter and save custom view dialog
- Fixed the way "Keep log for X..." options work, it now should work as intended, with the "All" option not clearing any logs
- Pitchers will no longer be created with just a fastball and a sinker as the repertoire
- The "vs. Team" pulldown menu in the pitching stats section of the player profile will now work properly, sometimes it did not
- The "Last Pitch" display in the game broadcast view now works properly

This is the last patch for OOTP 10. Work on OOTP 11 has already begun!

Upon downloading this patch (and assuming we've downloaded each one up to this point), what version of the financials.txt will we have by default in the game?

Just a note for online leagues, I tested real quickly and it appears that 10.4.31 can import team exports from 10.4.29 and 10.4.29 can load a file from 10.4.31. I didn't see any compatibility issues between those two specific versions in testing I did this morning.

Obviously 10.2.18 is not compatible with either of them once you upgrade from 10.2.18 you can't go back. Obviously do your own tests before deciding to do anything with your own league.

10.4.29 had Gambo's financials.txt. I'm sure this patch will too.

Right, 10.4.29 and 10.4.31 are 100% compatible in regards to league files and im/exports.

Uh oh, hope it's just me but I've apparently hosed my Mac version license with the beta patch. It prompts me for the key, won't accept it and will not let me de-authorize the current system. Any ideas?

I really have to criticize Markus here!!! Why would they release a patch during a work day when not all their customers will be able to download it?????

I followed the steps of unlicensing my Mac version before installing the patch and then re-licensing it and I am having no problems like this. So far so good for this Mac user.

Please log into the PWS with your account here:
https://www.pisd.co.uk/peds/ootpdev/login.html

Then, press "Request release" on one of the used licenses. That will make it available again for licensing inside the game.

As far as patching, I had no problems unlicensing, patching, then relicensing on OSX 10.5.8.

Obviously 10.2.18 is not compatible with either of them once you upgrade from 10.2.18 you can't go back.
