It doesn't look like I'm going to get fixed up. The website said I should expect a reply in about a day, and it's now been three. At what point am I allowed to get pissed off about how this is(n't) being handled?

When I try to install the patch, and I get to the part where I need to select the folder, "Install" is greyed-out and can't be clicked on, even after I browse-out my folder. How can I install the patch?

Are you trying to install to a custom location, or to the default location?

If to the default, I have no advice.

If to a custom location, my advice is to just go with the default location, then move it later. That's what I ended up doing, after putting myself through great angst first. Save yourself the angst.
