Interleague play
Somehow got to opening day in new league without realizing i wasn't playing a interleague schedule and I wanted to, and thought I checked it, but I didn't. Any way around it? I saved my database but not sure exactly at what point, and how would I access it if I had to.

No, once your season is underway you can't change the schedule. You'll either have to restart or live with no interleague play for this season.
Note also that the game's built-in schedule generator can't do a divisional schedule with interleague play. You can, however, import a custom schedule that does that.

See this thread in the OOTP 9 forums. The schedule files in there work fine with OOTP X.
