Occasionally Highest Rested
Pardon me if I missed a discussion on this, but I know the 10.4.29/31 has the new rotation style for the AI with "default", "strict", "highest rested", or "occasionally highest rested".
What exactly triggers the AI into using the highest rested if I were to select that? Just towards the end of the season if a team is in a race? Using off days better? I just want more info on how this works before switching over, because I would definitely like more flexibility in the AI rotations. |

Occaisionally highest rested allows the rotation to be strict order unless there are off days (like the all-star break or the break before the playoffs) in which case the highest rested starter will go.
Strict means they will start in order. Highest rested means just that. I've had a pitcher get bombed and not get out of the first inning and then pitch the next day because he was rested. Last edited by Spritze; 10-26-2009 at 12:16 AM. |
