I made a new folder and zipped every decade into one, and it works fine for me. Even the photos change from black and white to color as the years go by. Now i'm not too computer savy and someone else may have a better way of doing it...

Seems like you're savvy enough to me. "Whatever works" is my motto.

Sorry but I still don't understand. The photos are downloaded by decade. Then in each zip they are separated by year. Are you saying you then add all the years together into each decade folder and zip each decade folder? Then what? Do you manually unzip into the game's photos folder every 10 years? What do you do with duplicate names?

Or maybe in verX the game will read photos in folders that are in the game's photos folder?

I made a new folder called it all. then i zipped every decade into it one by one. I'm not sure about duplicates but i would imagine thats why my player photos change as the league progress's. I only did this once and i never have to touch the file until there's an update. It takes a bit of work but once its done that's it. hope this helps...

So you have a bunch of zip files in a folder named "it all." That folder is in the photos folder in the game. Ok. I'm going to try this tomorrow and see if I can figure it out.

I could not get it to work. Tried zipping the folders and tried moving all the pix in a decade and zipping that. Nothing worked. The only way it will work for me is to get simple step-by-step instructions.

The photos download by decades. In each decade they are divided by years. Instructions I've read in another forum state that you need to put all the photos directly in the photos directory. No sub-folders. No zips. One would think there would be directions somewhere for what you're doing. I just don't know.

I'm sorry your having problems, your right everything goes into photo folder. I zipped each decade into a folder i called ALL.(which i named) Then i transfered all the photos to photo folder...Maybe someone else can explain it better than i can...

Right, player pictures need to be in the data\photos folder, without any subfolders.

You can install the facepacks from the Add-Ons Central (game menu) from within OOTP too, this works without any problems. Just click on "Reload Add-Ons List " the first time you open the dialog, then all available add-ons get listed.

Back on topic, I was having serious crashing issues after the patch, but SteveP suggested I delete the Links and Bookmarks files and all has been great since then. Si I am a fan of the new patch as well. Thanks, guys.

Right. That's how I've always done it. But then you came along with a different method. Here are your posts:

I'm using a photopack that actually changes the pics over the years which adds to the realism when you see the player looking older

The photo's change on their own

I made a new folder and zipped every decade into one, and it works fine for me. Even the photos change from black and white to color as the years go by.

How do you get the photos to change on their own?

How can you put zip files in a sub-folder in the photos folder and get them to work?

Yeh pretty confusing for sure. Like i said at the beginning i'm not very computer savy, buts that's the way i did it. I forgot to say after i zipped everything into my All folder than that folder was opened into the PHOTO folder. I'm really sorry for all the confusing info, that's why I kept saying maybe someone else can jump in with advice. Thankfully Markus came along with the answer....
