Is it possible to convert an OOTP10 league to OOTP9?

Just as the subject says. I doubt it, but maybe someone has an idea I haven't tried.

Thanks,
Tom

Yeah, I figured. I want to use the player editor to make the 09 NPB, but I have no idea on their real pitches, and the ai keeps sticking the SPs as RP and vice versa, so I want to play the file without the new pitching model.

Maybe for 11 we can see a more robust league creation tool.

Something that I'm not really sure about, just a guess that it may help. I think it would be worth investigating. I think there is a way to export player info to text/csv (and import it in back again).

So, I think there is a function in the league setup (or maybe it's in the team settings) to export a roster to text or csv (and hopefully all players of the league also). And I think there is the corresponding option to import a roster from text (or csv).

Anyway, even if it is only available for a team's roster, you could export the text/csv file. Modify it as necessary to match the OOTP 9 format (probably some changes required in pitching if nothing else). Then import the files into OOTP9. Doing it team by team doesn't seem to be too bad if there are a limited number of teams.

My be some work, but it may be a valid work-around.
