craig nettles is 0-28 so far this season

so i sit him for the next game figuring he could use a mental health day. top of the 8th i am down 7-5, bases loaded and my 3b sub comes to bat.... right hander is on the mound & is nearing the end of his rope (why he is still in the game is a question, they have rested arms in the pen) so i give nettles a shot & he strokes a single. only one runner scores buy the lid is off!! we score 4 that inning, nettles gets another hit in the 9th and we win 10-7

I had a guy start 0 for 36 once.

I had a regular go 0-33 before gettign a hit.

Had a bench player go 0-40ish.. but he was a back up IF and came in for defencesive purposes.

Not necessarily from the start of the season, but...

It's kinda surprising to see how many really good players are on this list (Aparicio, Jackson, Morgan, Ripken, Schmidt, Jeter, Ventura) - then again, maybe it isn't, since if they weren't good players, they probably would've been benched before the streaks got that long.
