They Sure Do Throw Hard
I created a league starting in 1905 and simmed to 1990. At this point I created 2 feeder leagues, one high school and one college, to fully supply the amateur draft. I used the math provided on the forums to figure out the numbers. Anyways, I have noticed a couple things. First is that the stats in the league from 1990 to 2009 have been in line with real MLB totals. This is good. There are a lot of very good middle relievers available though, both through free agency and on waivers. Its a constant thing.
Second.....the majority of the pitchers I have looked at throughout the league have velocity above 95 and a great number of them are 97-99. I am sure this is purely cosmetic but I want things to be right. Why is this? Is this normal? |

I'm really getting deja vu here, because I'm sure I read this OP and a long discussion about being HBP.
